Moyes is 'Hot' again
I honestly believe that had our players converted their chances against Burnley in the first half right now many of us would have been singing the praises of Moyes and pleading with our terrible chairmen to give him a shiny new contract.
I am not convinced with him because for me West ham should go all out attack at home against the smaller teams instead of inviting teams to come on to us which is the way we play mostly.
So do you feel slightly tingly and warm inside for Moysie?

The sooner David William Moyes departs this club, the better.

Awful, awful manager.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
You could be forgiven for thinking that maybe giving him a chance to bring in some of his own players may change our perspective of 'Moysie' but.........

He had that at Sociedad and things only got worse.

I don't like him. He brings nothing but basic FA coaching badge methods and a sour demeanour.

He'll spend the summer blaming the chairmen for a lack of funds and the fans for the lack of interested talent.

Get him out ASAP, he can dine out on his rejuvenated career whilst relegating some other unfortunate team in 2019.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
Sorry, but I think that he is doing ok given the never ending injuries & misfortune we have. He wasn't a failure at MU, he never got enough funds or time to do the job. Sunderland were a woeful team and still are & he did keep Socialdad up in his first season. His record at Everton speaks for itself. As much as I liked Bilic as a person, Moyes has steadied the ship since he arrived.

He did well today, but if you've got any sort of ambition them you'd be looking to bring someone better in.

don't think he's shit, but we need someone better.

think Benitez would do really well with the players we have.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
I think he is yesterday's man but well done to him for getting the best out of Marco.

I didn't think he was worth the money even though he looked good in flashes at Stoke something was often missing.

He has been immense since Moyes arrived though.

I may be due a slice of humble pie

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
Without any doubt under Bilic we would've gone down so no one will blame Moyes if that still happens.I think we could do better but if he goes and we stay up I'd be more than happy to buy him a pint and wish him well.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
It wasn't Moyes who got the team working today: it was the supporters against Burnley showing their total frustration and anger at players too ready to give in. The players didn't like that and had obviously decided to put in 100% from the kick off today to avoid the same thing happening. We would like a manager who can motivate the team in that way for every match. Bilic wasn't it, and I'm not convinced that Moyes is either, but today showed that players can motivate themselves if they need to.

I wouldn't say no to getting Rafa as a replacement for Moyes, if he walks out on Newcastle in the summer. I doubt we can get any other top manager with the dildo spivs still here.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
We’d have to beat someone a damned sight better than Southampton were today for anyone to convince me he deserves a new deal.
Yes, he’s had a crap hand dealt but he’s still chosen some really shitty options from those cards...

All the indications are that if we escape relegation Moyes will stay on.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
Despite keeping Everton in the Premier Leauge for 11 years finishing 4th once, 5th 3 times and outside of the top 10 twice he's fucking useless because Sunderland went down

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
I'd be happy for Moyes to get a couple of seasons, be able to bring in his own players and get a proper pre season done. Given the utterly poor fitness, injuries to loads of players and lack of positive transfer activity I think its a bit lame to blame him without him getting a proper chance. I get that he has a dour personality but personality is no good if you cant organise a team.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
He's done a decent job, all considering. I'd be happy to see what he could do with a pre-season and a decent budget to play with.

Who’s he managing next season then Alfs?

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
If we stay up he and the coaches have done well. It was a terrible situation to come into. But sticking with him past the Summer is a unambitious decision imo. It should be the new DoF who makes the decision of course.

Re: Moyes is 'Hot' again
I love coming on here after a win...last few games and its all doom and gloom(and rightly so), win against a shite Saints side and suddenly all is right with the(West Ham) world...its like Burnley never happened...still i guess we are all hypocrites when it comes to the irons? Anyway I reckon we will be back to the natural order of things after the Chelsea game!!
